The intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) market segment is a primary area of focus.
Scope of Position:
* Able to set-up and operate most Diamond Turning machines to produce a wide variety of moderately complex jobs with minimal assistance
* Capable of utilizing toolpath generation software and form compensation software in any application during the Diamond Turning process
* Fully capable of interferometrically testing all complex aspheric shapes
* Resolve technical issues as they arise
* Capable of interpreting basic GDT symbols as they apply to the Diamond Turning process
* Utilizing all math skills as the apply to Diamond Turning
* Assist Supervisor or Team Leader with training as necessary
Hours/Schedule:
* 2nd Shift - 3 p.m. - 1:30 a.m. - Monday -
Education & Experience:
* We require a minimum of a High School diploma or GED
* We are seeking 1-2+ years of ultra precision machining
* Digital literacy in Excel and Word
* Fluency in Geometric Tolerancing
Working Conditions:
* Lifting of 30lbs daily and standing 50% of shift
* Wearing Protective glasses, gloves, and lab coats
* Exposure to chemicals: Acetone, Genesolve, Alcohol, OMS
* Exposure to materials: Aluminum, Nickel, Zinc Sulfide, Zinc Selenide, Germanium, Silicon, Polymers, and Beryllium Copper
