Manager, Business Intelligence & Performance Tracking - South Zone

Position Overview

This role will lead the design & delivery of analytic solutions that support the long-term strategy and annual plan of The Coca-Cola Company and Coca-Cola Bottlers. All consumer-relevant routes to market are in-scope including, but not limited to, Direct Store Delivery (DSD) Retail, Food Service, and Warehouse.

The Business Intelligence (BI) Manager will identify key strategic growth risk & opportunities at the regional and local level that are aligned with the Cola-Cola North America Operating Unit (NAOU) strategy. In addition, the BI Manager will create performance management capability by leveraging a variety of consumer/shopper/guest, market, and company data sources including shopper panel (e.g. Numerator, Simmons, MEMRI), dining guest panel (e.g. NPD-CREST), syndicated scanner (e.g. Nielsen, IR), financial, and supply chain. The ideal candidate will have not only a strong foundation in analytic capability but also complementary influential communication skills. Prior experience successfully working in a networked organization is strongly preferred.

What Youll Do for Us

* Partner with scaled data services to design & delivery scorecards that manage & optimize strategic initiatives.
* Identify insights from varied sources & analyses that enables strategy-to-execution across the entire value chain.
* Perform ad hoc analysis that isolate root causes and provide recommended solutions.

Qualifications & Requirements

* Bachelors degree; Master's degree, MBA, a plus
* 2-5 years experience in relevant industry (e.g. food, beverage, other CPG)
* Demonstrated experience and skills in data analysis & problem solving
* Business knowledge and experience relative to P&L impact beyond data collection and analysis
* Proven ability to take initiative and be innovative.
* Able to draw insights-to-action from data and translate to prioritized opportunities
* Adaptable and willing to work flexible hours to meet deadlines
* Ability to prioritize the workload and balance competing demands
* Experience with collaborating and influencing cross-functional teams
* Comfortable working with large data sets and able to create simple queries
* Advanced Excel, Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI skills are a plus.
* Demonstrated experience and skills in synthesizing data and analyses across multiple sources to glean insights (e.g., Numerator, Simmons, MEMRI, NPD-CREST, CBL, Bev360, iDine, iShop, Nielsen, IRI, MATRIX).

Skills

* Information-to-Insights: Manage & synthesize diverse internal and external data sources that identify key performance trends. Perform detailed data analysis (i.e. determine the structure, content, and quality of the data through examination of source systems and data samples).
* Data Analysis & Interpretation: Leverage synthesized insights to define key takeaways and recommended action plans to drive profitable growth for The Coca-Cola Company, Coca-Cola Bottlers and Coca-Cola Customers within the NAOU.
* Stewardship & Performance Tracking: Develop & implement reports, scorecards & communication routines against key categories, brands, customers, and bottler-specific initiatives. Assist with creation of effective Business Intelligence (BI) solutions and analytical dashboards / analytical tools for business users in Tableau/Microsoft BI/MicroStrategy.
