Job Description
The Competitive Intelligence Associate Manager is responsible for providing actionable insights (Auto/Home) to Allstate's Product Management and Senior Leadership to achieve profitable growth while improve our competitive position. This position will analyze market and competitive information and generate recommendations for stakeholders across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
* Contribute to APL Product Management business strategy and participate as a member of functional leadership team
* Perform analyses (e.g. competitor intelligence, product, market, risk management, financial) to understand the competitive position and perform Allstate's competitive assessment on an ongoing basis.
* Contribute to the achievement of short- and long-term strategies to achieve market share growth and profitability targets on a countrywide basis
* Analyze relevant facts and organize work to support strategies to ensure the integration and execution of product, pricing and risk management for countrywide usage
* Manage / perform complex work assignments and problem resolution across systems, processes or channels and navigate obstacles to deliver the work product
* Ability to perform in-depth analysis of product, pricing and underwriting to be able to deconstruct competitor actions and develop recommendations
* Develop and execute strategies by evaluating competitor actions to improve market share, competitive position and overall performance.
* Influence and coordinate efforts across the organization to facilitate the implementation of initiatives
* Measure and communicate results; make recommendations to leaders on redirection opportunities of efforts
Job Qualifications
Education and Experience
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
* 3+ years relevant experience
Functional Skills
* Advanced product, price, underwriting and insurance regulation knowledge, with working knowledge of Allstate Personal Lines' rate plans and product offerings
* Advanced knowledge about business in general, knowledge of industry and company economics;
* Advanced communication skills - ability to communicate competitor actions and strategies into insights
* Advanced problem-solving skills
* Ability to consistently achieve superior results
* Demonstrated sense of curiosity and desire to solve problems
* Demonstrated and foster a sense of urgency, strong commitment and accountability for achieving results

Compensation Data
The minimum salary for this position is $75,900. The salary offered will be commensurate with experience.
