The Systems Advisor will focus on business, functional, and technical requirements management through the project life cycle; from requirements gathering through implementation.

In this role, you will develop subject matter expertise in multiple applications, efforts, and workflows within our area. You will perform requirements-gathering, create documentation, conduct unit tests, and oversee user acceptance testing on application development initiatives. You will support business partners to improve service delivery and product enhancement efforts and proactively drive requirements meetings and actively proposes solutions. The Systems Advisor will interact with internal customers to define application enhancements, conducts requirements interviews with users of the applications to determine and define problem statements and goals for solutions and assist in training business partners on new application functionalities and performs application support by logging and researching reported system issues. You will identify and record value metrics related to application enhancements to report back on business value delivered.

Duties and Responsibilities
1. Serve as a liaison between the business community and the development team in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs.
2. Act and recognized as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in core BA competencies.
3. Assist in business process redesign and documentation as needed for new technology. Analyze business partners operations to determine opportunities to automate processes and functions if applicable. Translate high level business requirements into functional specifications for the development team and manage changes to such specifications. Identify business, operational and technical tasks, scope, time constraints and task interdependencies. Lead walkthroughs of business requirements.
4. Negotiate agreements and commitments by facilitating communication between business unit and development team from initial requirements to final implementation. Responsible for end-to-end ownership of projects and project planning activities in area of expertise and/or concurrent multiple for assigned team.
5. Review test plans and results. Assist with the resolution of test incidents. May provide guidance with the development of test plans as well as assist the business with development of user acceptance criteria.
6. Report out project status and impact analysis on an ongoing basis. Document all business support requests using Sharepoint or other documentation tool.

Required Qualifications
5 years experience in business analysis or a related field.
Analytical and conceptual thinking skills and experience.
Experience building concise, clear, and complete business requirements.
Experience influencing stakeholders and creating business solutions.
Experience multi-tasking in fast paced environment.
5 years leadership experience either leading projects and/or leading people..
Project management expertise.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Microsoft Visio.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with databases and interpretation of related data.

Education
Bachelor's degree, technical certification, or equivalent work experience.
