You Will Be Responsible For:
* Conducts long-term monitoring in epilepsy and intensive/critical care units
* Measures neurological responses to external stimuli and traces electrical pathways
* Ability to scan, correlate, and clip studies
* Ability to observe EEG tracings and respond appropriately to seizure activity
* Explains testing procedures to patient and family using age-appropriate guidelines
* Performs studies with appropriate documentation, observes patients, troubleshoots equipment and physiological artifacts, and utilizes appropriate resources
Qualifications
What You Will Need:
* Graduation from an Electroneurodiagnostics school or two years of technical experience
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Job Summary:
Performs Electroencephalograms (EEGs), Evoked Potentials (EPs) and Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) testing.
