AT&T has an opening for a Associate Director of Program Management - to support the Navy and USMC program management team in providing sustainment, pricing, engineering and lifecycle program support.
Description of Job Duties/Responsibilities:
The Associate Director(AD) will assist in the overall management and coordination of the Navy/USMC programs throughout the entire life cycle. The AD is to manage all aspects of the program teams activities and adequately handle project constraints, to include cost, schedule risk management, resources, trouble reporting, and quality management. The AD will incorporate industry best practices and will enhance the AT&Ts Navy/USMC program team management capabilities and reduce workload. The AD will manage all contract required deliverables in conjunction with the Navy/USMC Program Managers prior to customer review and acceptance.
The AD provides overall direction and real-time assistance to resolve technical, operational, and procedural problems including complex trouble isolation, system or network failure recovery, root cause analysis and/or the implementation of network changes or improvements. Position may oversee the development of detailed technical documentation and procedures as well as resolve engineering/technical issues related to maintenance, upgrades of existing equipment and installation of new equipment. Responsible for the multiple program vendor interface relationships including managing through critical and/or chronic network failures, product change notices, and engineering complaint resolution and network reliability initiatives. Supports the product development and operational process design by participating in the planning, design and technical validity of a solution and compliancy with Navy/USMC requirements. Identifies and aids in resolution of deployment issues and roadblocks with program teams. Ensures resources and assets are utilized in an efficient and profitable manner. Helps propose changes in design, configuration and/or formulation to improve system and/or process performance and reliability to better run programs.
The AD coaches and mentors all subordinates on the execution of processes and procedures. Provides oversight of all program activities. Manages personnel to ensure trouble tickets are accurate, provide reports, and ensure proper escalation occurs. Acts as an escalation point for critical recovery decisions. Provides oversight for the execution of all Navy/USMC program activities. Approves all operational and emergency changes. Authorizes deviations from standard processes and procedures to mitigate issues. Performs oversight on proper reporting, timesheets and account receivables.

* Has more than 7 years related experience.
* Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience.
* Ability to Travel as required
Required Clearance: Secret, Top Secret preferred (secret)
Required Qualifications: Must be a U.S. citizen
Desired Qualifications:
* Excellent communications skills (written and oral) along with a proven ability to capture and analyze requirements
* Preferred Bachelors degree or equivalent experience with an advanced degree in engineering or business preferred
* PMP, CISSP and ITIL certifications a plus
