Amazon Web Services (AWS) is building a world-class marketing organization, and we are looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer as a part of Digital Acquisition team to fuel the growth of the business.

You have the experience in driving business analyses and insights and be the voice of business stakeholders in delivering actionable insights for execution and measurement of marketing programs. You have strong leadership qualities, great judgment, clear communication skills, and a track record of delivering actionable analytics solutions.
Location: Position may be located in Seattle (preferred), or near any Amazon/AWS U.S. Corp office only. Relocation offered from within the US only to these locations.
Key Responsibilities:
As a key team member on the team, you will partner with a cross-functional group of marketers, product managers, data scientists and engineers to develop new and innovative solutions that will enable teams to become agile and take decisions faster on behalf of the customer.
Uncover trends and correlations to develop insights that can materially improve our marketing performance.
Collaborate and partner across the organization to develop best practices for your function and advocate for improvements in enterprise-wide tools
Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing performance metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree in a quantitative area such as math, statistics, computer science, engineering or equivalent experience
5+ years of relevant experience in analytics, data engineering, market research or related field
Proficient in SQL working with large-scale, complex datasets from multiple sources
Advanced skills in Excel as well as any data visualization tools like Amazon Quicksight, Tableau, or similar BI tools
Working knowledge of ETL, data modeling and big data tools
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills to translate ambiguous business requirements into complex analyses and actionable insights
Aptitude for refining informal business analytic requirements to help move beyond the simple ask and surface the underlying why
Excellent analytic strategy skills; for this role creating analysis ideas is just as important as the ability to do the analysis
Documented history of thinking outside the box to improve business results
Track record of delivering results in a collaborative work environment
High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously

The base pay range for this position in Colorado is $ 87,700 - 153,500/ yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
