SUMMARY
The Associate Video Producer is responsible for the creation of compelling, inspirational video content for Advance Auto Parts and its Team Members and Customers. This position will interface across all levels of the organization to plan, shoot, and edit video content. This position will tell stories and bring our Team Member experiences to life.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
* Meet with internal customers to determine specific needs for audio and video productions. The will support the Manager of Video Production in pre-production planning (Producing/Directing), coordination of crew, planning, scheduling and logistics for video shoots and edits.
* Responsible for video editing in house and at offsite vendor locations. The goal is to maximize time in the editing environment and minimize the cost to Advance Auto Parts.
* Partner with Instructional Designers for creating video and audio elements of Team Member training and development.
* Maintain integrity of messaging and high quality representation of Advance Auto Parts and its Team Members at all times, through intimate understanding of company culture and goals.
* Travel 20% of the time to field production locations and support producing and directing on location; coordinate the crew, talent, and business owners for efficient use of time and resources. Often this requires interaction with store teams and AAP customers.
* Create and maintain a file management system that ensures proper archives of produced content, B roll, and other video and photography assets. Ensure security and safety of this content.
QUALIFICATIONS

* Proficient in scriptwriting, videography, video editing, and video producing.
* Proficient with Adobe products, including Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop (1+ years)

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* PREFERRED: Interest in and experience with automotive parts, the auto industry, or auto mechanics.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelors degree in Communications, Video Production, Media Studies or related field; and
2-4 years experience in TV & Video Production for broadcast, web or social media (equipment, digital technology); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Valid Drivers License and possess a good driving record. Job requires driving company owned, leased and rental vehicles.
