JOB SUMMARY

This role will provide material support in various different departments by utilizing forklift, pallet jack, order picker, etc., to move products around.

JOB DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (other duties may be assigned):

1. Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory.

2. Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.

3. Keeping a well-maintained and updated account of stock and inventory

4. Handling returns by completing technical documentation and other required communication

5. Receives credit-return material and supplies from production by verifying materials and supplies code and lot number and quantity; placing materials in stock.

6. Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections; making operator repairs.

7. Collaborating with internal departments to locate missing packages, fix incorrect deliveries and replace damaged products

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

* High School Diploma/GED

* At least 18 years old

* Possess basic knowledge of world class logistics and division material flow

* Previous forklift experience

* Strong attention to detail

* Ability to stand for extended periods of time

* Ability to routinely lift 40+ pounds or more

* Strong analytical skills

* Ability to work independently and in a team environment

* Effective communication skills

* Basic computer skills are required to be successful in this position

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

0-2 years of materials, inventory experience or forklift experience

0-2 years experience in a continuous improvement environment
