The Chief Operating Office (COO) is responsible for delivering a more consistent approach to business operations across Wells Fargo, strengthening the companys risk and control infrastructure, and delivering effective and efficient enterprise services to employees and customers.
The COO group includes the head of Operations, who is jointly responsible for line of business operations with each of the five LOB CEOs. Operations functions include contact center operations, client servicing support, money movements within our businesses, lending operations, and other functions.
The COO group also includes a number of teams dedicated to strengthening Wells Fargos risk and control infrastructure. These include the Control Executive team; Regulatory and Policy Affairs; Enterprise Customer Excellence; Sales Practices Oversight and Management; and Strategic Execution and Operations.
The Chief Administrative Office, encompassing the Corporate Properties Group; Corporate Security; Enterprise Business Resiliency; Strategic Programs and Process Improvement; Enterprise Change Management; Supply Chain Management; and Data Management and Insights, delivers important services for our employees and customers.
The Group Privacy Officer for the Chief Operating Office assists with the development and administration of the Privacy Program, including the following:
* Reviews and updates privacy risk appetite to adjust to company-wide expectations;
* Ensures all privacy-related training is completed;
* Remains informed of all privacy-related regulatory updates and addresses any required changes;
* Helps perform policy reviews and gap analysis / implementation plan reviews;
* Supports policy exceptions and exemptions;
* Supports the global delivery activity privacy risk questionnaire privacy reviews;
* Supports the privacy metrics determination and definition and privacy risk reporting and analysis activities;
* Assists with the testing and validation/audit support tasks;
* Functions as a driver for consistency across all Group Privacy Leads/Privacy Leads in Wells Fargo
* Leads major initiatives related to Privacy;
* Acts as a key (not sole) point of contact between front line Group Privacy Leads and second line of defense;
* Mentors other Group Privacy Leads;
* Is the ultimate SME for all things Privacy for the COO office;
* Works closely with the COO program lead for Compromised Data and Data Privacy Risk.
Required Qualifications
* 10+ years of experience in risk management (includes compliance, financial crimes, operational risk, audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, IT systems security, business process management) or 10+ years of financial services industry experience, of which 7+ years must include direct experience in risk management

Other Desired Qualifications
* Experience with Domestic and International Privacy Laws
* Privacy risk evaluation, assessment, monitoring, remediation, and management
* Risk program administration and reporting
* Accreditation from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP)
