The Chief Technology Office (CTO) is leading the transformation in a multi-cloud technology landscape by developing and delivering innovative products that delight our customers and speed to market banking products to our customers. This includes leading and managing the Cloud, Agile implementation, engineering, architecture, and all the tools, products, and training that will enable team members to achieve our transformation.

Within CTO, the Enterprise Application Services (EAS) organization's mission is to improve best in class engineered technologies and best practices that are Agile-minded, commercially-structured, compliance-oriented, and focused on the rapid delivery of high-quality, safe products and services which are consumable at scale. These enterprise products and services include Middleware (automation, engineering, operations), Cloud, DevOps and CI/CD, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and Observability/Monitoring.

Position Overview
The Middleware Product Owner Principle Associate will work with accountable leaders and teams across Technology and Wells Fargo Technology to drive the identification, privatization, management, across enterprises to ensure stability and resiliency of software features and function that enable business value. This work is completed with a strong eye towards risk and cost. Working across Agile teams to deliver automation around features and functions in Middleware in a compliant fashion.

Responsibilities include:

* Working across multiple agile teams
* Providing direction and information across enterprise lines of business
* Provide strategic direction and tactical correcting as needed across agile teams
* Craft and deliver correspondence to key partners and customers
* Provide feedback loop across teams and provide guidance on customer priorities

Required Qualifications
* 10+ years of technology experience
* 5+ years of strategic planning and development experience
* 3+ years of Agile experience
* 5+ years of risk management and mitigation experience
* 2+ years of automation experience

Desired Qualifications
* Experience managing large technology development efforts within a major line of business
* Ability to influence across all organizational levels, particularly senior management
* Knowledge and understanding of Shared Risk Platform (SHRP) such as reporting and issue management
* Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, with senior executive-level leaders
* Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships
* Ability to assess issues, make quick decisions, implement solutions, and influence change
* Middleware experience
* 2+ years of Kafka experience

Other Desired Qualifications
* Ability to use SCRUM and KanBan in implementation across and enterprise
* Strong ability to communicate complex technical, information protection issues and value/impact in simple terms to very senior business and technology leaders
* A high level of comfort working with ambiguity or uncertainty and converting information into quantifiable concepts
* Strong organizational and project management skills with an ability to manage numerous, competing demands from internal and external stakeholders
* Strong ability to effectively communicate and broker agreements amongst diverse, differing, competing, and/or conflicting perspectives/priorities
* Experience working across Lines of business and technology stack to implement solutions
