We are looking to hire a Senior Software Engineer to work within The Wealth information technology group performing the following duties:
* Develop standards and enterprise-wide best practices for engineering complex, large-scale technology solutions to address highly complex and cross-organizational issues.
* Design, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practices.
* Maintain broad knowledge of other technology engineering disciplines and collaborating with other key
experts to ensure we are making the right technology choices for Wells Fargo.
* Translate the following into technical engineering solutions:
- adherence to architectural approved technologies
- organization's tactical and strategic business objectives
- line of business' strategic objectives and requirements
* Expert resource for architects in the development of target architectures to ensure that they can be properly designed and implemented through sound engineering practices.
* Maintains knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies and recommends innovations that enhance operations and/or provide a competitive advantage to the organization.
* Provides expert counsel to senior technology leadership and advises and mentors others with the goal of knowledge transfer.
Successful applicants will have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced team oriented environment while leading development and implementation of highly complex web based applications. This requires leveraging the following advanced knowledge and experience with VMWare Tanzu (PAAS), Java 8 and/or C, Spring Framework, .NET, and/or .NETCore, Angular 8+ Client Framework, Test Driven Development or Behavior Driven Development, experience with Unit testing with integration to Selenium and experience with Oracle and/or SQL Databases.
Required Qualifications
* 7+ years of software engineering experience
* 3+ years of Agile experience
* 7+ years of RESTful or SOAP web services
* 7+ years of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) experience
* 7+ years of web design and development experience
* 7 + years of JavaScript Frameworks experience (jQuery, Ext JS, Kendo UI and/or Angular JS)
* 5+ years of database experience with 2 or more of the following platforms: Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, MongoDB
* 1+ year of Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) experience
* 5+ years of .Net or Java experience or a combination of both
* 2 + years of experience in one or a combination of the following Enterprise Pipeline Tools: uDeploy (Urbancode Deploy), TFS (Team Foundation Server) GIT, Sonar, Fortify, Blackduck
* 5+ years of experience in microservices development
* 2+ years of experience with Angular 8 or 9 or newer upgrades for legacy applications
Desired Qualifications
* An industry-standard technology certification
* Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
* A BS/BA degree or higher in science or technology
* Leadership skills including; coaching, training, and mentoring
* 5+ years of Spring experience
* 7+ years of ASP.Net experience
* 7+ years of Java experience
Other Desired Qualifications
* 3+ years of experience of Junit/Integration Testing experience.
* 2+ years of experience of Angular material (Preferred) or Bootstrap and CSS.
* 1+ years of experience of Automated Unit Testing experience.
* 1+ years of experience of Behavior or Test Driven Development experience.
