Location and Hours: Azusa, CA, M-F 630am-3pm - Occasional Saturdays

Work Environment: Landfill environment, working with materials such as construction and demolition materials and recycled tires. Must be able to run tire shredder and monitor conveyor for quality control and remove any items that cannot be placed into shredder, to include tires with rims that may weigh up to 100 lbs+. Laborers will rotate between the landfill, tire shredder, traffic control and water truck duties. Will be exposed to outside weather environments, dirt, odors, high levels of noise.

Responsibilities: Will be performing laborer tasks such as litter picking, cleaning, digging, moving objects, painting cleaning chutes, conveyors, greasing and maintaining equipment, empty trash cans, wipe down high touch surface areas, place and run pumps to remove excess water, clean rumble grates, wheel wash out, homeless encampment mitigation. Will also assist with Lube truck to help lube heavy equipment when needed. Direct traffic ensure visitors are wearing PPE while on premises. Will be required to wear respirator when running water truck within 100 feet of asbestos disposal site.

Preferred Skills: ability to walk for long periods of time up and down slopes, adaptable to change in work duties and environment, ability to follow instructions

I. Job Summary
