In this Marketing Specialist role supporting OptumRx employer, consultant and coalition marketing and growth initiates. Position reports to Marketing Director- Growth and Retention Marketing and supports marketing campaigns to grow, win and retain business. The role executes prospecting and lead-generation campaigns, content marketing, and digital marketing, including search and social media. Also provides event support (virtual or live) for marketing initiatives via sponsorships or prospecting events. Position is critical to meeting OptumRx growth and retention goals.
Primary Responsibilities:
Campaign management
* Support and launch new campaigns (prospecting and lead generation).
* Execute on and optimize marketing automation and lead generation process through email campaigns, web, and social channels.
* Support the production of email campaigns, including development, deployment, testing, reporting and analytics, quality control, and list optimization.
* Work with internal, cross-functional teams to execute every campaign on time and within budget.
* Tracks and measures the success of efforts and adjusts campaigns as necessary.
Content marketing
* Execute on marketing campaigns (including content marketing, email campaigns, webinars, and events).
* Maintain content marketing calendar and collaborate across functions to deliver an effective content marketing plan to meet business objectives.
* Work collaboratively with the enterprise to cross-promote OptumRx internally and externally through thought leadership, speaker/webinar series, newsletter campaigns and events.
Strategic support
* Work closely with Growth Office stakeholders and field to ensure goals are met and are well supported by the Marketing team.
* Support and execute the OptumRx marketing strategy and manage communications (internally and externally) to help drive growth and retention.
* Develop, manage, and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and keep them informed about campaign plans, results and status of key initiatives.
* Partner internally to identify opportunities to initiate influencer marketing (case studies, testimonials, success stories, etc.).

Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business, or communications
* 3+ years of professional marketing experience
* Experience providing deliverables on multiple initiatives while working in a matrixed organization
* 1+ years of experience leading and managing successful digital/email/content marketing campaigns
* 1+ years of experience executing multiple projects simultaneously and effectively establish priorities
* Experience working with crossfunctional teams without formal authority
* Ability to be proactive, and move from strategy to execution and back again
* Proficiency in the MS office suite of Products (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
* You will be asked to perform this role in an office setting or other company location
* Employees are required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener prior to entering the work site each day, in order to keep our work sites safe. Employees must comply with any state and local masking orders. In addition, when in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are expected to wear a mask in areas where physical distancing cannot be attained.
Preferred Qualifications:
* 5+ years of experience in a fast-paced, large organization
* Health care or pharmacy benefit management (PBM) experience
* Content marketing and/or digital marketing experience
* Experience working with sales and/or client management teams
