Technical Application Specialist II - Coder
Location: Marietta, Ohio
Job Description

What will you do?

* Work in cooperation with the learning and development teams, subject matter experts, artists, animators and engineers to create, implement, polish, debug and optimize high quality interactive animated experiences and systems.
* Design, build, and maintain clean, efficient, reusable and reliable code.
* Knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
* Demonstrate and apply strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
* Adapt to multiple platforms and environments: VR, AR, MR, Touch Displays, WebGL, etc.
* Translate and implement user specifications into game functionality per communicated design needs.
* Work closely with Management and other team members as required to perform gap analysis and develop optimized road maps to support strategic initiatives
* 00B7Participate in evaluation and recommendation of third-party products for future game design and development implementation
* Provide support to the teams who re-use the developed technologies
* Communicate with project managers and stakeholders regarding the status of projects
* Effectively collaborate with other remote and local team members as required.

How will you get here?

* BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field. Relevant work experience can be considered in place of a degree.
* 3 years of experience with Unity.
* 4 years of experience with C.
* Experience with user experience design, level design, and level tuning.
* Experience with Android, PC, and WebGL development.
* Proficient with Vector Math, Linear Algebra, Networking
* Strong computer science fundamentals.
* Experience developing for Oculus Quest and Microsoft Hololens.
* Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team.
* Ability to work on a team without direct supervision.
* Able to travel up to 40%.
* Knowledge of using Gitlab.
* Ability to follow coding style sheets and document for both DOxygen parsing and human readability.
* Ability to accurately estimate time to complete tasks.
