Senior Transfer Pricing Manager

Job Description

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Transfer Pricing Manager to join our existing tax team based in Paisley, reporting to the Global Tax Compliance Director. This shall initially be a 6 month fixed term contract based in the US until transfer completed to the UK.

This role will be instrumental to the setting up of a new inhouse transfer pricing local file documentation team based in the UK, working with our existing central tax team and external partners to bring a significant number of our local transfer pricing files preparation inhouse. The role will initially involve the review of current processes and planning of future workload, recruitment of the new transfer pricing local file documentation team, building processes and implementing the software tools. Developing an understanding of the Groups transfer pricing policies and business models will be a critical part of this role, ensuring accurate documentation compliance and audit support.

What will you do?

* Lead the setup of the new inhouse transfer pricing local file documentation team
* Plan and organise the workload and training of the team
* Implement processes and software for preparing the local file transfer pricing documentation
* Review and oversee accurate and timely compliance with mandatory global transfer pricing documentation and audit support
* Develop understanding of the Groups transfer pricing policies, commercial and supply chain operations
* Keep up to date with tax law changes globally and to effectively support the company's transfer pricing documentation
* Develop self and others through effectively supervising and coaching staff
* Support wider tax team on ad-hoc projects

How will you get there?

* Demonstrated management and leadership skills with experience in owning and leading project implementation
* Strong transfer pricing relevant work experience
* BA degree, Advanced degree, and/or Professional Qualification in accounting or finance with in-depth knowledge and understanding of transfer pricing required
* Strong communication skills with ability to work with key members of the business and the finance team
* High level of energy; can bring a passion to excel. Able to energize and motivate the team, coaching and developing
* Ability to thrive and manage in a complex, global business environment
* Strong interpersonal, analytical thinking, and organizational skills
