How will you make an impact?
The Antibody Assembly Supervisor oversees our team of antibody formulations, filling, packaging and support associates. As part of this role, the supervisor maintains the ability to perform antibody receiving, inspection and packaging when demand warrants. This is done in an ISO certified environment that supports our antibody processing work streams.
What will you do?
* Understand and follow:
* Safe manufacturing practices
* Good documentation practices. The associate is expected to maintain detailed documentation and implement updates in support of ISO requirements
* Commit to producing and maintaining the highest standard of quality in antibody production and processing
* Supervise a team of associates with the following job functions:
* Antibody receiving and packaging
* Catalog antibody formulation, dispensing and packaging
* Manufacturing Support assistance
* Perform supervisory duties, including but not limited to:
* Administrating performance reviews
* Assisting the departmental manager with budgeting and expense tracking
* Driving all teams to meet performance goals and key metrics
* Facilitating associate career development
* Providing input on new product introductions
* Training and coaching of personnel for success
* Scheduling and tracking attendance
* Drive continuous growth through championing systems such as: 5S, Lean, Practical Process Improvement (PPI), Standard Work, Visual Management and Quality Management
* Ensure on-time delivery of production work and assigned projects
* Act as a key member of an integrated manufacturing and quality team
* Perform catalog antibody formulation, dispensing and packaging or OEM Antibody receiving and packaging when demand warrants.
Train and maintain proficiency to assist Quality Associates with antibody inspection duties as needed.
How will you get here?
Education:
* HS Diploma/ GED and equivalent knowledge with experience required
* Bachelor of Science degree in a Biochemical / Biological sciences, Chemistry, or Life science emphasis preferred
Experience
* 1+ years leadership experience either leading teams or leading projects preferred
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
* Ability to perform basic scientific calculations
* Ability to be detail oriented and accurate
* Basic mechanical aptitude
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Proficiency with intermediate PC applications 2013 ability to use inventory management system, receiving, and label software.
* Strong communication and team-building skills
* Demonstrated people leadership skills
* Strong organization skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Physical Requirements:
* Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment when required
* Able to sit/stand/walk regularly
* The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
