How will you make an impact?
Lead the Finished Goods Manufacturing (FGM) Assembly Team in the safe and efficient production of finished goods products. As the FGM Assembly Lead, you2019ll organize the daily workload of the team according to Safety and Quality standards, working with functional leadership to execute against daily metrics. Apply operational knowledge to effectively communicate and coordinate resources within department to support the fluorescent probes and reagents business that enables our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer.
What will you do?
* This position is responsible to lead the activities of the finished goods assembly group and organize resources to effectively achieve production schedules with a focus on safety, quality, customer service, and continuous process improvement.
* Promote a culture of safety and facilitate a safe working environment for all team members.
* Act as knowledge leader for the assembly team, providing technical and functional guidance to team members.
* Organize and monitor day-to-day manufacturing and resource planning in the work area to ensure production schedule is achieved.
* Support the troubleshooting of issues and provide clear, concise and appropriate feedback to team members.
* Complete manufacturing review of production documents and close work orders as needed.
* Keep the team on track with schedule changes based on priority.
* Onboarding and ongoing training of assembly team. Continuously drive team to increase cross training in multiple areas and increase team skillset.
* Work with Team Leads/Supervisor to ensure coverage during overtime as needed.
* Other duties as assigned
How will you get here?
Education
* High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience
* 2-5 years of manufacturing experience in an ISO or QMS regulated environment
* Laboratory Experience a plus
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
* Strong organizational skills
* Excellent documentation and communication skills (oral and written)
