The Senior Director of Q2C Modernization Strategy within the Business Technology organization will be responsible for leading a cross-functional team in partnership with BT Core and M&A Product teams to help define the next generation of Q2C for $50B in revenue and beyond. This individual will drive the vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution of the product plan for the next Generation Q2C Revenue Cloud roadmap and partner with BT, TMP and GTM Stakeholders on strategies for core Sales/Revenue motions and new integrations. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams across the several Business Technology domains and the broader Salesforce Product Clouds across the company to execute the vision and will bring a beginners mindset to help define the product roadmap and technical efforts to modernize the data, integration and technology strategies related to the entire lead to compensation transformation.
Team and role overview
The Q2C Modernization Strategy Product Management team plays a critical role at Salesforce in leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives within our Business Technology organization. Product leaders focus on capabilities across the customer life-cycle, with emphasis on the Lead to Compensation (Q2C) areas as priority for modernization, integration synergy and scale. Product Managers in this team are geographically diverse, domain aligned and work across M&A programs through from beginning to end, ensuring continuity from integration to integration and more effective communication with the core Salesforce systems and teams. Product Managers and Analysts work to conduct current and future state analysis to determine fit-gaps, risks/impact to the existing business motions to resolve before go-live and deliver roadmap and engineering stories. Cross-functional collaboration is key and an area for growth, so this individual will need to bring a demonstrated track-record for being intellectually curious, a team player and the ability to evolve teams and processes to the next level.

Your Impact
* Own the product management lifecycle: research opportunities and pain points, drive the vision, define how the solution works and how related experiences impact that functionality, analyze data and stakeholder feedback. Specifically, you will lead the team to:
* Define a holistic vision; refactor, rebuild, and migrate the current Salesforce core systems and processes for the future and prioritize GTM synergies in selling and transaction models.
* Deliver a practical and simplified solution for acquired companies by helping them to understand current products and processes with an eye open for alignment with Salesforce systems and processes. Ensure non-conforming areas are evaluated with scrutiny and exceptions well defined and approved early in the process.
* Continually improve security, availability, and visibility of every aspect of our GTM and Revenue Cloud platforms and partner with the TMP and BT Domain Product Management teams to design both for fast implementation as well as future standardization and ongoing customer cohort transitions when new mechanisms and features become available.
* Engage customers and stakeholders to determine business requirements, technical considerations, and strategic objectives, as well as provide recommendations based on your industry and product experience.
* Participate in Steering Committee meetings with key stakeholders for each program to help make key decisions, remove obstacles, and address key program issues. Be a key driver to ensure business goals are met through automation and efficient design and drive the strategic vision of each product deliverable.
* Lead the team of product managers and contractors to mature the discipline of product management within our organization and increase the data and business acumen to help frame and drive key decisions effectively.
* Communicate clearly and efficiently. Define expectations for engineering teams and collaborate with them on planning and execution. Work closely with executive and program stakeholders in M&A, BT Revenue and Other Domains and across Salesforce Executive Leadership to promote your products both internally and externally as well as ensure a cohesive message.
* Manage the product roadmap. Make tough tactical prioritization decisions while helping the company think long-term. Build trust with stakeholders through transparency and collaboration.
* Partner, influence, and collaborate closely with executive stakeholders in BT, TMP and M&A and with executive partners across Salesforce.
* Collaborate with Product Management, Architecture, Program Management, and Engineer peers to help strengthen and improve our products and designs based on user feedback and challenges using Agile.
* Work with Program Management and Engineering to manage the release process and tightly integrate and balance functionality and feasibility and manage implementation timelines with a keen understanding of the underlying architecture.
* Partner with cross-functional teammates to drive workgroup alignment meetings to address tactical release issues, dependencies, team status, production issues, metrics review, milestones, etc. (cross functional - Product Management, Scrum Masters, Engineering, Platform Engineering, TechOps, Release Engineering, Capacity, Functional Managers, Release Management, etc.).
* Participate in program reviews (deep dive into current state of project goals, risks, escalations) in whatever forum required; anticipate and remove obstacles with a sense of urgency which prevent project teams from delivering on project goals.

* Be a catalyst within the organization, someone who can help advance our Product & Technology strategy globally and drive others in the organization to change.
Minimum Requirements
* 6-10 years (Senior Product Mgmt)/10-15+ years (Director) of enterprise software/product management or engineering management experience at an enterprise technology company.
* 6+ years of solution management experience for M&A, infrastructure, software, data services, or SaaS experience.
* 3+ years of successfully implementing and managing SaaS product development programs; strong knowledge of the SaaS business model and its product development lifecycle.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a history of hands-on, detail orientation.
* Deep experience with the software development lifecycle; ability to adjust and apply this knowledge in a dynamic environment using agile methodologies.
* Ability to establish credibility and rapport with senior executives and technical and non-technical team members alike.
* Outstanding organizational, communication, and relationship building skills conducive to driving consensus; able to work well in a cross-functional, matrix management environment.
* Ability to master technical subjects and technologies relevant to the program.
* Strong organizational, project management, analysis, and communication skills.
* Ability to work well as a member of a highly integrated team composed of both technical and non-technical members.
