Raytheon Intelligence & Space is looking for a Senior Field Engineer I to support our team based out of Aurora, CO. This selected candidate will be responsible for performing Tier 2 maintenance on systems in an operational environment. Qualified candidates must be able to work both independently and as part of a team that is dedicated to high performance & focused on the support and maintenance of real-time systems and other hardware.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide break/fix hardware support for program supported real-time systems on an Operations and Maintenance (O&M) contract
* Perform hardware installations and decommissions for real-time systems as well as audio/video, public address, digital signage and information technology hardware within established site and program procedures and guidelines
* Perform rack to rack visual inspections, documenting issues for Tier 2/Tier 3 to troubleshoot and resolve
* Provide hardware support in conjunction with Tier 2/Tier 3 troubleshooting and guidance
* Coordinate with System Integrators, Maintainers and End Users to ensure timely completion of projects
* Train to support other hardware aspects of the contracts
Required Education/Experience:
* Bachelors degree and 4 years of related experience or 12 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
Requirements:
* An active and in-scope U.S. TS/SCI security clearance with C.I. polygraph.
* Willingness to work in confined spaces, under floor and above ceiling as required
* Ability to work various shifts, including after-hours and weekends as necessary to support operations and postures
* Team player that is willing to provide support to a variety of tasks and to support high priority customer activities
Desired Requirements:
* Experience fabricating and testing various types of cables to include fiber
* Ability to use basic UNIX and LINUX commands
* Excellent communication and customer interaction skills
* Experience working in a customer environment
In compliance with Colorados Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $64,100 to $115,400; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidates work experience, education/training, and key skills.
