Job Description

Operate and maintain two or more multiple-spindle screw machines, or BTBs to perform metal cutting functions to specifications at acceptable quality and production levels.
Ability to run quality parts and has demonstrated an acceptable quality record. Ability to maintains acceptable production levels Ability to completely understand the controls of a both conventional, NOCAM screw machines, and BTBs. Ability to recognize worn and/or broken tooling. Remove, sharpen, and/or replace the following: o Form Tools o Shave Tools o Drills o Cutoff Blades o Taps o Recess Tools o Reamers o Mills o Step Drills o Thread Rolls o Inserts Ability to replace and/or change collets, pushers, and gears. Ability to read and interpret blue prints. Ability to operate, understand and read SPC. Ability to read and use measuring devices.
Education High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Experience Minimum three years experience in a manufacturing environment recommended. Experience in general metal forming machine setup is a plus. Computer Skills Experience with Windows OS, Microsoft Word and Excel Experience with basic computer hardware (i.e. turning on/off a computer, keyboard, mouse, monitor, printer) Personal Skills Has and promotes a positive attitude Effective nonverbal and verbal communication Team Player
