The Email & Ecommerce Specialist will help execute digital marketing initiatives to drive strategic double-digit growth across email, Amazon, and goalzero.com. Reporting to the Director of E-commerce, the individual will work within a growing marketing team in an explosive product category, executing flawlessly. This role is for a go-getting, problem-solving individual who enjoys tweaking, fixing, and optimizing across the wide-ranging aspects of email and ecommerce.

Duties & Responsibilities

Write, optimize, and schedule all email for goalzero.com
Build and refine automated email workflows, segmentation, review collection, and overall state of email health
Optimize Goal Zeros Amazon Marketplace business from driving traffic, conversion, site merchandising, and marketing execution.
Ensure goalzero.com and amazon.com are always well stocked, and that we are well positioned to make sales, e.g. ensure we are winning buy-box on Amazon, be quick to address any site outages or issues
Work with the Digital Marketing Manager and Ecommerce Director to build new site content for landing pages, product launches, marketing campaigns, and more, to provide a first class user experience
Assist with the running and reporting of site optimization experiments, A/B tests, etc.

Minimum Requirements

Experience managing an email program building automated flows, optimizing send times, and managing the email calendar
Experience with website merchandising appropriate product placement, optimization of product listings across website and amazon.com, and the nuances between the two
Previous experience in an e-commerce role for a physical product-focused company
Bachelors degree. In lieu of a degree, an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered

Preferred Qualifications

2 plus years in a Digital Marketing or e-commerce role
2 plus years in an email focused role
Experience working in an Amazon business channel (preferred)

Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

A solid foundational understanding of a customer journey, pre- and post- purchase
Marketing knowledge of key levers to drive traffic and attract potential new customers
Deep understanding of what is required for an optimal product listing on Amazon
Quick to learn new interfaces
Dependable, reliable, find issues and coordinate with others to resolve in a timely fashion
Strong self-management with attention to prioritization of issues affecting the business

Regularly required to stand and/or sit for extended periods of time; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms
Regularly required to use a computer to communicate via online channels
Ability to occasionally lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds
Minimal domestic travel is required approximately 5%
Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand
