The GBSD program is seeking a System Test Electrical Engineer. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman rsquo;s Space System team supporting the Air Force rsquo;s Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program, working as part of the System Test Team. The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels. What You rsquo;ll Get To Do:
The successful applicant will:
* Design, develop, and implement testing methods and equipment.
* Plan and arrange labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices.
* Compile data and define changes required in test equipment, test procedures, or new test requirements.
* Support test planning, execution, reporting, and integration support.
* Perform data analysis against requirements and interfaces for each software build or hardware component
* Interface with software developers and systems engineers in support of verification
* Prepare detailed test reports and support formal verification of the system
* Perform product integration, regression, and verification testing including checkout in system test labs.
* Support short and long term integration planning and execution of multiple concurrent baselines. This include integrating subsystem functionality into system capabilities per design with an emphasis on system stability and performance
* Participate in technical exchange meetings, interfacing with customers (internal/external) and contribute to a broad range of program deliverables.
* Integrate hardware from sub-system teams, interface with other elements, and with the system and segment level teams
* Apply the principles of engineering to design components and systems using applicable standards and specifications
* Support all phases of the systems lifecycle including concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal
* Maintain design documentation and follow configuration management requirements

This position rsquo;s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

* System Test Electrical Engineer-Bachelor 39;s of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or a STEM(Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline and 2 years of related experience; 0 years with Master rsquo;s of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or a STEM(Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline
* Principal System Test Electrical Engineer-Bachelor 39;s of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or a STEM(Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline and 5 years of related experience; 3 years with Master rsquo;s of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or a STEM(Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline; 0 years of experience with a PhD.
* Active Secret Security Clearance investigated within past 5 years
* Software and/or Hardware testing experience
* Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management
* Proficient in MS Office
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:
* A current DoD Secret or Top Secret/SCI level security clearance, to include a Single Scope Background Investigation, a periodic reinvestigation, or an original adjudication date completed within the last 6 years
* Automated Test experience (development and execution)

* Experience with Model Based System Engineering with an understanding of DODAF and SysML
* Proficiency in DOORS and Cameo
