Overview
The Lead Developer Data Integrator will be a key contributor in the development and implementation of enterprise-level data ingestion, engineering and consumption solutions supporting reporting, BI analytics and application needs. This position requires a highly technical, motivated lead developer who will work with analysts, architects and systems engineers to develop and unit test solutions based on the functional and technical specifications to meet quality and performance requirements.
Responsibilities
* Design, develop and implement Data Ingestion, Data Engineering and Data Consumption solutions that meet the functional and non-functional business requirements
* Primarily work with Azure Technology stack
* Independently solve complex technical problems
* Competently perform advanced technical tasks with minimal supervision
* Effectively work with users and stakeholders to gather and understand solution requirements.
* Ability to work under pressure and maintain composure and professionalism in an environment with multiple changing priorities/tasks
* Participate in the definition and revision of development best practices and standards
* Work in all aspects of development including, but not limited to, gathering requirements, development of technical components related to process scope and supporting testing and post implementation support
* Mentor and provide technical guidance to other team members
* Lead scrum teams as needed
* Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Technical Skills:
* Strong understanding of Enterprise ETL tools, Data Engineering Technology stacks and solutions
* Strong understanding of Software Engineering principles and best practices
* Strong understanding of ETL, ELT design patterns and architectures for ingesting data from a wide variety of sources and consumption by a wide variety of sources
* Good understanding of data analytics architectural approaches and data models
* Deliver solutions that perform optimally under varying volumes
* Ability to adapt to new technical innovations and business processes

Education and Experience Requirements:
* 7+ years of relevant experience
* Bachelors degree or certification required
* Must have hands-on experience in the following:
* Azure technology stack (APIM, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Server, Azure DevOps, Azure Blob)
* Building services, function apps, logic apps, web apps using JavaScript-based technologies like NodeJS
* Relational database components a must (tables, views, stored procedures)
* Build containerized applications
* Must have worked in an agile development environment (Scrum, Kanban)
* Experience in the development and implementation of complex, high volume Data Engineering solutions
* Experience ingesting data from a variety of sources and mediums including relational systems, APIs, webhooks, event streams, etc.
* Experience applying Software Development best practices and following SDLC processes
Physical Requirements:
This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.
