Job Description
Position Title: Seasonal Stockhandler
Location: South Deerfield, MA
Shift: 1st shift Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Job Summary: Seasonal Stockhandler 1st shift
The Seasonal Stockhandler is responsible for performing various manual and mechanical duties to move a variety of raw materials throughout an assigned work center
Key Responsibilities:
* Operating electric and motorized material handling equipment for storing and retrieving raw materials; operating RF scanning equipment to identify and track material movement; recording inventory counts; replenishing raw materials, as needed
* Ability to drive power equipment and become certified in forklift operation
* Demonstrated strong attention to detail, including speed and accuracy in counting and checking a must
Minimum Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Ability to read and write in the English language is required
* Ability to stand for 8 plus hours and able to lift up to 40 pounds on a frequent basis
Preferred Qualifications:
* Prior distribution, and/or warehouse experience
* Previous experience operating material handling equipment would be a plus
* Prior experience performing physical inventory counts and recording inventory totals preferred
* Operating Radio Frequency (RF) or similar scanning equipment
