Microsoft already has strong EX products today, including SharePoint, Glint, Yammer, Workplace Analytics, and Stream. Now we are investing in a new set of products and services that build on Microsoft 365, and that work seamlessly within Microsoft Teams This is a unique opportunity for a product marketer to get in on the start-up stage of this business. You will be part of the EXP GTM team that brought this strategy to life with the recent company Tier 1 launch, and is now chartered to grow awareness, engagement with this new brand, and learn and experiment with GTM in H2, and develop/ orchestrate FY22 GTM plan to meet the growth expectation next year! This role will focus on modern GTM motions: digital leads generation & nurturing (GEP), RM, ABM at Corp & local level, in-product GTM for Viva all up and the modules, and ensuring they hook appropriately into traditional sales motions (aka. Enterprise Field sellers). It will include leadership of the Field PMMs who need guidance/ support in generating demand at local level to feed their pipe. Additionally, this role will apply their functional expertise (e.g., in app use/try buy) to other products in the portfolio like MSFT Visio (at the outset we'd target at 30% of time there) As this is a team in start up mode, responsibilities may shift over time depending on the need of the business/ product portfolio.

Owns reporting, analyses, experimentation plan on modern GTM motions in monthly MBR Leads/ readies Viva-dedicated Field PMMs, through in person summits, virtual meetings, and Teams space, to coach/ support development of their local demand gen plans

Partners with GDC team to develop, enable, tune the employee experience GEP, & RM engine

Partners with PM teams and Commerce/ Biz Planning teams to ensure prioritized plans for in-product use/try/buy motions, and keeping the experience customer-focused

Contribute to annual planning process across engineering, marketing functions, GTM channel teams

Above bullets apply across Viva & Visio in a 70-30 split roughly

A minimum of 6-8 years of product management and/or product marketing and/or channel marketing experience/ and or sales experience and a proven track record of delivering results (preferably in enterprise products)

GTM experience in a digital/ subscription/ direct business highly desirable

Ability to think big picture and to understand the practicalities of implementation

Ability to speak and collaborate with stakeholders across disciplines, and represent our strategy & marketing plans

Proven ability to influence, advocate, negotiate with variety of types of stakeholders across organizational boundaries to get things done

Communication, high maturity, and presence: you should have demonstrated ability to create strategic narratives that resonate with internal and external audiences, delivering clear outcomes and a call to action

Capacity and comfort to learn new areas and shift priorities as business evolves
