Shifts: E/O Sun 3p-1130p

The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist is involved in hands on patient care. The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist manages room workflow and facilitates care of patients in conjunction with the Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor.
Adheres to policies and procedures for daily operations.
Works with the Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor to ensure that the imaging standards are maintained.
Recommends changes to the protocol that would improve the overall quality and care for the patient.
Participates in the quality assurance plan for the Diagnostic Imaging program. Participates in the research and development of new exam and protocols.
Ensures that all exams of high quality and available for interpretation in a timely fashion.
Follows workflow plan developed by the supervisor, and alerts the supervisor to problems as necessary to a changing environment.
Monitors the equipment performance and takes the appropriate measures to have the problems resolved (i.e. arrange service/repairs).
Consistently demonstrates effective communication, both written and verbal, with all departmental, hospital staff, and vendors.
Performs all other duties as assigned or required to ensure efficient operation of the department and quality patient care.

* Must have graduated from an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program
* Must maintain a current Massachusetts state licensure
* Must maintain a current ARRT registration in Radiologic Sciences.
* Must maintain a current BLS.
