L3Harris is actively seeking for an experienced C-130 PDM Aircraft Supervisor for our facility located in Waco, TX 76705. We have great competitive benefits that start on day one. The Aircraft Supervisor is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations associated with all aircraft maintenance of C-130 aircraft during the PDM visit.
Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:
* Lead the e3 (continuous improvement) strategy for the PDM/UDLM team
* Review of planning and material requirements for the PDM and over and above efforts
* Ensures team follows safety and compliance policies and procedures
* Scheduling of tasks to be performed
* Assigning the daily/weekly workload to team members
* Frequent coordination with support and management teams
* Daily team kick-off meeting
* Reading and interpreting drawings and aircraft manuals
* Provide oversight of performance to budget and schedule
* Assist with manpower planning
* Perform team member evaluations
Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 4 years prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/ Associates Degree with a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience, with no degree, minimum of 10 years of experience
* Must be an effective communicator and possess strong motivational skills
* Must display a strong understanding of the acft flow during a PDM
* Must be able to demonstrate creative problem-solving capabilities
* Must be willing to work any shift, and overtime as needed
* Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
* Must have a functional knowledge of MS Office tools, including Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint
Preferred Additional Skills
* A&P; License
* C-130 General systems experience
* Previous leadership experience
* Lean Six-Sigma previous experience and/or Greenbelt
* Secret clearance or above
