As the Accounting manager you will be responsible for developing Annual Plan, reporting actual results and forecasting key metrics on an on-going basis. The Accounting Manager willl partner with the General Manager and the Finance team to deliver planned Orders/Revenue/EBIT/Cash
* Deliver Annual plans and Forecasts
* Ensure accurate and timely submittal of all financial reports and documents, including Monthly and Quarterly closing results, account reconciliations, variance analytics
* Identify and coordinate process improvement initiatives
* Lead and develop the Finance team, including completing all performance management requirements
* Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and all Compliance training requirements
* Coordinate with Sector Controller and staff within the matrix structure to ensure communication is timely and complete
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance - or equivalent standard of professional body/regulatory qualifications
* Minimum 9 years prior related experience including leadership positions.
* Prior experience successfully leading a team of Finance and Accounting professionals
Preferred Additional Skills:
* Experience with Continuous Improvement
* CPA is preferred.
* Experience with SOX/ICFR
* Demonstrable leadership experience within a business, with a strong focus working with other business leaders; ideally in an industry focused upon the primary career training of young people
* Comprehensive knowledge of basic accounting principles, GAAP, and Sarbanes Oxley
