As a member of the Resiliency team, you along with your peers will be responsible for implementing control procedures that govern the resiliency of the firmwide critical applications and assets. This includes cyber controls, cloud controls, and resiliency testing for data centers and sites. Automate sourcing of the data, adjudication of rules and provide reporting to governance team and resiliency business leads. All along re-architecting the application to be built on the public cloud platform.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design and Development of key functionality within the application
* Carry out design reviews/code reviews at agreed points throughout the project life cycle
* Work closely with the development team to monitor the design/development undertaken by them
* Hands on design and development of technical artifacts
* Participate in technical reviews; define/improve processes on configuration management, deployment and resiliency planning for the application.
* Troubleshoot time-sensitive production issues and recommend/implement solutions.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer science or equivalent with relevant experience
* 7+ years of experience working with a mix of enterprise development technologies including Java and J2EE and strong applicability of Object-Oriented techniques and principles
* Minimum 7+ years hands-on software development work experience in all phases of software development including design, configuration, testing, debugging, implementation, and support of large-scale, business centric and process based applications in large-scale distributed technology projects in a Java / J2EE environment.
* Strong working experience in Database (Oracle, SQL Server) in writing/understanding various DB Objects Stored Procs, Functions, Triggers, Queries, Packages, Views
* Working experience in MVC data binding UI frameworks such as Angular 2+ and Tuxedo CSS
* Working experience in Java/J2EE technologies including SpringBoot, Microservices, Spring and Design patterns
* Working experience on Cloud Environment development and deployment process (Preferably AWS).
* Development experience in JPA frameworks such as Hibernate and iBatis
* Familiar with development and code management tools such as Jenkins, Jules, Git/BitBucket, Jira, etc.
* Hands on experience with Python programming
* 2+ years of experience working in an agile environment.
* Experience in working with product owners to review the requirements and implement them
* Fair understanding big data technologies like Hadoop/HIVE/Spark, Scala, HBase, Cloudera.
* Knowledge about rule based engines or similar in-house product is good to have.
* Knowledge about BI tools like SSIS, Qlikview, Tableau, etc. is good to have.
