As Associate, Product Delivery & Investment Governance, you will help drive overall product delivery for the Global Payments organization with a focus on project governance, investment planning, and shepherding end-to-end product delivery.
As part of the new Product Delivery & Investment Governance team, you will be directly engaged in defining, implementing, and optimizing product governance and reporting processes, while also supporting the overall investment planning process, and digging in where needed to successfully recover projects in crisis.
Supporting the Product management organization throughout the project life cycle, you will be a focal to the impact of all product engagements. You will help facilitate various senior product workshops and processes enabling a cross-functional effort that will bring an exceptionally high-quality product and experience to JPMorgan clients.
Core Responsibilities:
Day to day support of product delivery management and Governance for JPMorgans Global Payments organization.
Defining, implementing, and continually optimizing expectations, standards, templates, and processes.
Overseeing overall technology investment usage and adherence of designated project management tools.
Supporting the Global Payments organization in the creation all project artifacts, including project plans, investment plans, statements of work, status reports, etc.
Regularly assessing and communicating portfolio and project health - including scope management, resourcing, schedule, and budget.
Supporting Global Payments leadership in managing risk, escalation, and conflict negotiation across the investment portfolio.
Escalating issues to the leadership team and marshaling resources as appropriate.
Rolling up sleeves where needed to successfully recover projects in crisis.
Drive cross-functional teams towards market-leading product deliveries.
Experience:
3+ years minimum experience practicing project management, business management, or management consulting experience.
Experience in payments and/or transaction banking products in a plus.
Experience working in a global matrixed organization.
Can demonstrate experience of directly rolling up sleeves to tackle and resolve issues. (regardless of how big or how small) to get the job done and ensure project success.
Experience creating, implementing, leading (and standardizing) a standard approach for investment planning, prioritization, project governance, and reporting.
Experience working with a pool of shared resources across offices and geographies.
Ability to function effectively and communicate within cross-functional teams Product Management, Technology, Operations, Service, Implementations, Finance, etc., and manage continuously changing business needs.
Strong communication skills.
Very strong PowerPoint and Excel skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Project (and/or other project management software) is a strong plus.
