We are looking for a Director of Product Branding and Naming to help us to connect our customers to our growing portfolio of products: across client computing, the data center, the intelligent edge and more. You will have the opportunity to not only grow and evolve existing global brands, but also to help define and establish new brands, technologies, and programs.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
* Establishing a strategic vision for Intel's product brand portfolio, including product brand architecture, naming strategy, and how the portfolio should evolve over time to meet the needs of Intel's business and our customers.
* Building credibility and earning trust with Director, VP and Executive level stakeholders through innovative, best-in-class product branding approaches and strategies.
* Managing multiple priorities and workstreams with the ability to remove barriers and inspire a team of product brand strategists.
* Driving strategic decisions around new product brand creation, product brand extensions, product brand hierarchy, and product brand segmentation.
* Collaborating with a diverse range of product, marketing, and insights/analytics teams to develop, validate, and communicate product value propositions, positioning, key differentiators, technologies, messaging, and whether to maintain or evolve product brands over time.
* Managing external agencies and creative teams on naming and visual identity workstreams, brief, creative development, sell-in, production, and guidelines development.
Qualifications
A successful candidate will:
* Have 15+ years experience across consumer and/or B2B marketing, business, or branding, with at least 8 years in tech.
* Be a visionary in this space- up to date on trends in product branding and how to translate industry insights into actionable product brand strategy.
* Is fluent in marketing strategy and the tenets of brand management, including product brand positioning, messaging, sales motions and customer insights.
* Understands technical features, product roadmaps and business strategies.
* Excellent storyteller who is able to simplify the complex, has excellent communication and presentation abilities, and the ability to influence across all levels of an organization.
* 5+ years of experience preparing and presenting to Executive level stakeholders.
* Promotes collaboration, proactively identifies problems, and brings executional and organizational rigor to the team.
