Job Description:
Corporate Security Manager
Coordinating Huntsmans global security efforts to comply with Huntsman internal security standards. Review security regulations from security agencies around the world to provide guidance and recommendations to Sr. Management to strengthen programs and ensure compliance.
As the Corporate Security Manager, you will:
Build, institute, and maintain a culture of physical security excellence globally
* Foster the implementation of physical security requirements across the business units
* Provide assistance, expertise, and advice on implementation of corporate physical security requirements and security related incident investigations
* Design, implement, and deliver training programs for Site Managers, EHS Managers, and Local Security Officers at facilities globally
* Develop effective sharing of best practices related to physical security
* Develop security audit protocols and an audit program to be conducted at Huntsman facilities as required by internal physical security procedure
* Ensure Security Vulnerability Assessments are effectively implemented and conducted where required
* Oversee the Huntsman Security Network
* Participate in EHS related audits and activities globally as needed
* Assist with developing travel security arrangements for associates traveling to high risk areas
* Serve in an advocacy position on AFPM's Security Committee and participate in advocacy efforts
* Work with the Information Technology group to identify gaps and common areas of interest
Skills and experiences required:
* Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice/Organizational Security/Similar and a minimum 7 years direct security or law enforcement with risk-based security program experience
* At least two years of experience managing, coaching, and developing team members
* Experience within the chemical industry is highly preferred
* Strong knowledge of facility security techniques
* Proficient with internet, email, and Microsoft Programs
* Must have a level of proficiency with Microsoft program (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
* Good technical writing skills
* Excellent communication skills
* APP or CPP preferred
