One Delta Electronic Trading Risk

One Delta Electronic Trading Risk is a front-office team within the equities one delta business unit, responsible for electronic trading risk management and control framework.

The group works closely with a number of trading desks including GSET Sales trading, Shares trading, Portfolio trading, Systematic market making as well as Execution Strats, Legal, Compliance, Internal Audit, and other various 2nd line control functions. The role requires a combination of technical capability, risk judgement, and good knowledge of equity markets.

The teams core responsibilities include:

* Design and calibration of e-trading risk controls, including detailed analysis of prior electronic trading patterns
* Monitoring of algorithmic trading activity along with electronic trading control alerts
* Providing recommendations to One Delta leadership regarding a variety of operational risk decisions
* Liaison with 2nd and 3rd lines of defense control functions
* Assisting with the preparation of responses to regulatory inquiries
* Providing governance within the One Delta business unit for new business initiatives
* Thought leadership and contribution to divisional and firmwide e-trading controls initiatives

The successful candidate will have:

* Detailed knowledge of electronic trading systems and controls
* Thorough knowledge of Americas equity market structure including detailed understanding of internalizers and alternative trading systems (ATSs)
* Familiarity with Americas equity regulations, market access rules, and key exchange rules
* A strong grasp of securities databases and SQL
* A track record of sound risk management judgement
* A drive to both reduce operational risk and facilitate rapid business development
