Job Summary:

Our Direct Sales Representatives are focused on supporting customers who choose to purchase insurance by phone, and then directs leads and policyholders to Farmers agents who provide knowledge, support and a full portfolio of coverages to meet customers' needs.

Heres what you will accomplish as a member of our team:

Sell insurance products to direct inbound callers (and in some instances making outbound calls) by gathering data from customers to generate quotes and ultimately bind the business. Educate customers regarding coverages and cost so that the customer can select the most appropriate option. Qualify customers as buyers of other products/services and refers cross-sell opportunities as required. Educate customers on benefits of self service, paperless, and automated payments.

Sales Representative Qualifications:

Education - High School diploma or equivalent. Four year college degree preferred. The ability to obtain resident/non-resident property and casualty license in all states. Completion of required additional training. Experience in personal lines, P&C insurance sales or the equivalent retail or call center sales experience. Direct sales skills and ability to close a sale Ability to establish strong customer relationships. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong PC and software skills required. Position Location:

This is an in-office position that is currently being performed remotely due to COVID-19. Regular place of employment will be 5665 N. Kraft Lake Dr., Caledonia, MI 49316

Work Schedule:

Our first priority is to our customers so we work non-traditional work weeks to match those needs. Training schedules are Monday Friday 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM ET Time. The hours of operation are Sunday through Saturday 7:00 AM - 11:15 PM ET. Fulltime, 40 hours/week which may include five 8 hour days or four 10 hour days. You must be willing to work non-traditional hours, which could include evenings and weekends.
