RESPONSIBLE AND ACCOUNTABLE FOR THE QUALITY AND COHESION OF SOLUTION ARCHITECTURE COMPONENTS WITHIN PBM & RXCLAIM ADJUDICATION
APPLICATION, AND THEIR CONFORMANCE TO APPROVED CVS HEALTH IT STANDARDS. ENSURE ALIGNMENT OF IT SOLUTIONS WITH THE BUSINESS GOALS &
OBJECTIVES OF THE SUPPORTED UNIT. SERVE AS A SENIOR APPLICATION ARCHITECT PROVIDING INDUSTRY LEADING TECHNICAL DIRECTION AND GUIDANCE TO THE
RXCLAIM APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT TEAMS TO ENSURE APPROPRIATE & COST-EFFECTIVE APPLICATION OF CVS HEALTH APPROVED TECHNOLOGIES. PROVIDE
SOLUTIONS AND DESIGN COMPLEX FUNCTIONALITY, AS WELL AS DEFINE TECHNICAL SOLUTIONS AND DOCUMENTS WITHIN THE RXCLAIM APPLICATION. LEAD
ASSIGNED PROJECT/PROGRAM TEAM AND MENTOR JUNIOR RESOURCES AS NEEDED. HELP DEFINE STANDARDS, GUIDELINES, AND ALIGNING SOLUTIONS TO THE
RXCLAIM APPLICATION ARCHITECTURE. WORK WITH SENIOR BUSINESS LEADERS ON KEY PROJECTS & INITIATIVES RELATED TO PROCESSES FOR THE ADJUDICATION
APPLICATIONS. FACILITATE THE DISCUSSIONS RELATED TO PROCESS CHANGES, IMPACTS AND POTENTIALLY NEW FUNCTIONALITY. BE PROFICIENT IN ALL CRITICAL
FUNCTIONS OF APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT AND CHAMPION SDLC METHODOLOGIES WITH A DEEP UNDERSTANDING OF BEST PRACTICES TO ENSURE THAT QUALITY
STANDARDS ARE MET.
DRIVE DISCUSSIONS WITH BUSINESS TEAM AND UNDERSTAND BUSINESSES ASK IN DEPTH TO DEFINE IT SCOPE FOR CHANGE AT HIGH LEVEL. DEFINE SCOPE & PATH
FOR TECHNICAL TEAMS TO PERFORM FEASIBILITY STUDY & IMPACT ANALYSIS. LEAD IMPACT ANALYSIS TO HANDLE CONCURRENCIES AND IMPACT OF ANY CHANGE ON
OVERALL SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE USING AS400, SYNON, RPG, SQL. EVALUATE AND SELECT APPROPRIATE SOFTWARE OR HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS FOR PROJECT.
EVALUATE & ADVISE EFFECTIVE IMPLEMENTATION PLAN TO BUSINESS. IF REQUIRED BREAKING DOWN LARGE SCALE PROJECT/PROGRAM INTO MANAGEABLE
PROJECTS. PROVIDE TECHNICAL LEADERSHIP AND SUPPORT TO SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT TEAMS. ASSIST WITH SOLVING TECHNICAL PROBLEMS TO SUPPORT
PROJECT TECHNICAL TEAM. LEAD TECHNICAL FEASIBILITY ANALYSIS OF BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS AND GUIDE TEAMS TO COME UP WITH LOW LEVEL DESIGN
SOLUTIONS WITH ESTIMATED EFFORT AND TIME. PROVIDE TECHNICAL SOLUTIONS AND DESIGN COMPLEX FUNCTIONALITY WITHIN THE RXCLAIM APPLICATION
(ADJUDICATION). COMMUNICATE & COORDINATE WITH ALL IMPACTED APPLICATIONS TO ENSURE REQUIREMENTS ARE UNDERSTOOD CORRECTLY AND SOLUTION
APPROACH ALIGNS WITH BUSINESS EXPECTATIONS & REQUIREMENTS. REVIEW TECHNICAL DESIGN DOCUMENT, LEAD DISCUSSIONS WITH BUSINESS AND OTHER
PROJECT STAKEHOLDERS TO FINALIZE AND OBTAIN SIGN-OFF FOR DESIGN. GUIDE TEAM ON WRITING CLEAN, EFFICIENT, WELL-DOCUMENTED CODE AND ADDRESS
ANY TECHNICAL CONCERNS, IDEAS AND SUGGESTIONS BY PROJECT TEAM. USE KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE ON AS400, ALDON, SYNON, RPG, SQL WHILE PERFORMING
ABOVE MENTIONED RESPONSIBILITIES. DEFINE TESTING SCOPE ON THE BASIS OF THE REQUIREMENT AND GUIDE PROJECT TEAM ON EFFICIENT & EFFECTIVE UNIT
TESTING APPROACH. PROVIDE GUIDANCE ON TOOLS & STRATEGY FOR EFFECTIVE TESTING. REVIEW AND PROVIDE OVERSIGHT TO PROJECT TEAM ON QUALITY
ASSURANCE OF CODE. CONSTANTLY MONITOR AND REVIEW TO ELIMINATE ANY REDUNDANT OR INEFFECTIVE CODE BLOCKS AND EFFICIENT PROCESS IN TERMS OF
PERFORMANCE, RESOURCES UTILIZATION AND CPU USAGE ON APPLICATION LANDSCAPE. INTERACT WITH BUSINESS AND OTHER PROJECT STAKEHOLDERS FOR
VARIOUS ISSUES IN QA/UAT/PRODUCTION RELEASE. PROVIDE TECHNICAL SUPPORT AS REQUIRED. PERFORM ROOT CAUSE ANALYSIS FOR ANY PRODUCTION ISSUES
AND GENERATE IMPACT REPORTS. PROVIDE THE BEST FIX TO PRODUCTION ISSUES CONSIDERING CURRENT SYSTEM PERFORMANCE AND USAGE. HELP DEFINE
STANDARDS / METHODOLOGIES / GUIDELINES, AND ENSURE COMPLIANCE WHILE ALIGNING SOLUTIONS TO THE RXCLAIM APPLICATION ARCHITECTURE. POSITIVELY
MENTOR AND LEAD ASSIGNED TEAM PROJECTS AND MENTOR JUNIOR RESOURCES AS NEEDED. BRING INNOVATIVE IDEAS TO SOLVE COMPLEX TECHNOLOGY
PROBLEMS. PARTICIPATE & CONTRIBUTE IN TECHNICAL STRATEGIC INITIATIVES (EG: PLATFORM MODERNIZATION). MONITORING & MEASURING PERFORMANCE OF
NEWLY DEPLOYED PROJECT IN PRODUCTION.

Required Qualifications

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT AND SDLC, INCLUDING LEADING CONCURRENT TECHNICAL PROJECTS. MUST ALSO HAVE 3 YEARS OF
EXPERIENCE IN IBM ISERIES (AS/400); SYNON2E/COOL 2E; ALDON; RPG ILE; CL; AND, IBM X-ANALYSIS. WILL ACCEPT A BACHELORS DEGREE AND 6 YEARS OF
EXPERIENCE IN LIEU OF A MASTERS DEGREE AND 3 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE. 0 -5% DOMESTIC TRAVEL FOR ONSITE PROJECT COORDINATION.
