The Ortho Team Lead directly responsible for coordinating the team to provide care to all patients within the areas scope. Medical staff should be collaborated with to provide consistent quality patient care. The Ortho Team Lead coaches, mentors, leads, and motivates staff within the Recovery Room area. The Ortho Team Lead for the Recovery Room area must promote good public relations for the department and Tennova Healthcare - Clarksville while maintaining patient/customer confidentiality.

BASIC KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
Education / Licensure / Certification:
* Current license in the State of Tennessee or Compact State as a Registered Nurse in good standing
* Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certification
* Bachelors preferred or active pursuit of degree
Experience / Skills:
* Previous leadership experience preferred
* A minimum of one year experience in a Post Anesthesia Care Unit as an RN manager/leader or comparable experience
* Analytical skills necessary to prepare patient plan of care, implement effective nursing care and develop solutions to problems concerning patients mental or physical well-being
* Interpersonal and communication skills necessary to address issues in tactful and timely manner
* Attention to detail and concentration
* Ability to work in fast-paced, every changing environment with fluctuations in patient acuity and staff availability
