Job Description
Under the direction of a licensed medical provider, the clinic LPN assists in the examination and treatment of patients. Performs patient interviews, prepares patients for providers care, measures vital signs, observes and reports patients signs and symptoms on patient charts, and assists the provider with various tasks during clinic. Prepares treatment rooms for patient examination and provides basic first aid; will preform basic laboratory procedures and/or collect routine laboratory specimens within the scope of practice. Will also be responsible for FMLA paperwork, scheduling mammograms, and communicating results with patients. Education: Graduate of practical nursing program. Previous experience working for a surgeon preferred.
