Charles Schwab's Digital Banking Solutions team builds key journeys and moments for millions of clients and/or their advisors who are engaged in building their wealth and managing their financial outcomes with brokerage, banking (deposits, payments & lending) and trust capabilities. We are responsible for defining, delivering, and optimizing the client-facing and advisor-facing digital experiences with the right targeted client experience across channels and business lines. We work, think and approach problems differently than your traditional financial services firm, and we drive to change both how Schwab operates and how the industry serves investors and advisors. We collaborate across user experience, product, client service, operations and technology teams across the enterprise to build products clients love. In this role, you will drive the creation, refinement, and evolution of targeted banking experiences based on client behavior and needs.
We are looking for a product and customer champion to lead a Banking Experiences Asset Transfer team and help us craft the future Schwab Digital. What you are good at
* Strategy Setting ambitious and clear vision for end-to-end bank and broker/dealer money movement experiences
* Execution - All aspects of technology product development (channel and domain) including the definition, creation, development, implementation and experimentation through a prioritized backlog of product features
* Client Focus Developing a deep understanding and empathy for prospect and client needs across Retail and Advisor Services
* Partnership Support integrated, matrixed teams in delivering seamless end-to-end experiences
Product and customer champion
* You will be responsible for the product vision and the technical execution for a set of money movement experiences (e.g., ACH, wires, real time payments)
* You will translate the product vision into specific deliverables, and ensure rigor in execution and attention to detail by effectively managing the product feature backlog
* You will support iterative testing and ongoing improvement of the client experience
* You will find new ways to combine evolving digital technologies and Schwabs capabilities
Team Leader
* You will drive modern digital product management principles and serve as a leader across technology, design and product teams
* You are enthusiastic and will motivate the scrum team to leverage individual strengths in order to move past difficult situations
* You will model team norms and contribute to positive team dynamics, leading to continuous team performance improvement
* You will help foster an environment of trust, effectively communicating within the scrum team and with an ecosystem of stakeholders
* You will be a change agent as the team continues to progress through a multi-year investment in Digital Transformation
What you have
* 7 + years strong digital product management skills, experience with client journeys, and demonstrated ability to develop and implement product strategies
* Product management experience in money movement highly desired
* Technical background with a keen understanding of broader business needs and product strategy
* A passion for digital innovation and commitment to superb client experience
* Superior communication skills, ability to communicate complex messages and trade-offs and tell a compelling story
* Experience working in a collaborative multi-disciplinary team within an interactive process and an Agile development methodology
* Effective relationship builder ability to partner cross-functionally, cross-enterprise and work effectively with various levels of the organization as well as various personality types
* High adaptability in managing an emerging platform through new and evolving consumer trends
* Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
* Highly developed communication and presentations skills with a superior ability to effectively communicate and present complex concepts and issues to leadership teams in a highly compelling, persuasive, fact-based manner.
* 3+ years experience people management; proven track record of building and inspiring high-performing teams
* Effective in managing business risk through assessing risk probability and impact, developing processes for risk mitigation and detection in rollout and test plans, and scenario planning
* Bachelor's degree required. Post graduate degree is a plus
