Your Opportunity
Enterprise Unified Planning is a company-wide planning framework that unifies Schwab teams with common planning elements, artifacts, and practices in order to move with our greatest purpose, speed, and agility.

Daily, this team works to build harmony in planning by crafting a thin but powerful circuitry of coordination, communication, and information flow both horizontally between teams and vertically between teams and all layers of leadership. The program currently supports roadmapping and planning across 300+ unique scrum teams.

Planning at scale requires adaptability and alignment at scale, ultimately supporting enterprise agility at scale. Therefore, Unified Planning is a critical dimension of Schwabs agile journey and transformation.

What you are good at

* A planning orchestrator role
* Strategic program building and evolution
* Responsible for a cohesive set of 12-20 roadmap areas (covering 3-15+ scrum teams each) and their respective Roadmap Owners, who are working hand-in-hand with the Product Owners
* Build rapport with teams and Roadmap Owners quickly and genuinely
* Work with Roadmap Owners to build and update their product roadmaps.
* Facilitate coordination across teams
* Drive improved quality, consistency, transparency, and predictability in planning
* Comfortable communicating with leadership and gaining support.
* See delivery through a dual-lens of business and technology
* Solve for sustainable, practical solutions at scale
* Become a trusted advisor and leader with vision in planning standard methodologies
* Be willing to identify problems, explore options, and propose changes
* Feel comfortable taking strong initiative in ambiguous, hard problems and enjoy working closely with a high-performing team
* Have a passion for helping our teams find meaning, engagement, excitement, and value in their work.

What you have

Required:

* Have a forward-thinking outcome-oriented and value-oriented mentality
* Apply management and collaboration skills to orchestrate and maximize the value of planning and strategizing across teams
* Ability to think at scale and conceptualize solutions that work across hundreds of scrum teams
* Understand a product-oriented operating model, product thinking, and agile standard methodologies

Desired:

* Experience coordinating across multiple scrum teams in a large, complex enterprise environment
* Confident presence with leadership and strong rapport with teams
* Have 3-5 years experience in at least one of the following:
* As a Product Owner
* Working in Enterprise Portfolio Planning
* Delivery Manager / Release Train Engineer
* Strong grasp of software development and technology
* Conflict resolution: Able to facilitate discussion of issues and different approaches and alternatives, and optimally resolve issues in a timely manner.
* Attitude of willingness: Desire and ability to bring disclosure and transparency across teams and grow trust between the business and development.
