The VC-25B Seattle Derivative Logistics team seeks a Senior System Support Technical Specialist. System Support Technical Specialist will be part of a team researching and assessing engineering changes to determine impact on maintenance operations. All the positions are supporting larger scope of work in capability and are located in Tukwila, WA.
Position Responsibilities (but not limited to):
* Oversees the development and delivery of customized provisioning and sustaining technical data products to support products line maintenance and part overhaul.
* Consults with internal and external customers to develop customized bill of material, drawing changes, part configurations and kits.
* Coordinates specialized, complex revisions to technical publication products and data.
* Investigates and recommends solutions to complex customer technical inquires and schedules.
* Develops and supports training on complex spares engineering tools, provisioning processes and products.
* Coaches and mentors others.
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
This position is Contingent upon Award.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
* 5 + years of experience gathering, preparing and analyzing technical data for the development support products which may include the following: logistics engineering, logistics support analysis, technical publications, support equipment, spares, provisioning, field services, maintenance, etc., supporting product lifecycle.
Preferred Qualifications:
* 3 + years provisioning experience on Boeing 737, 767 and 747 highly desired and/or provisioning experience on military heavy aircraft.
Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.).
Relocation:
This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
