Ashland has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Compensation Consultant to join our Ashland LLC business. This is a very visible, significant role within the Company and the Human Resources function. This position will report to Global Compensation Manager.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

* Implementation and administration of executive & equity programs globally,
* Primary point of contact for HR Business Partners, Managers and employee questions related to equity awards or about any equity program in effect.
* Responsible for the day to day administration of equity compensation programs, including the issuance of equity awards and execution of equity award vestings. Monitors, verifies, and reconciles data.
* Ensures all employee equity plan transactions are processed accurately, compliantly and in a timely manner.
* Partners with Legal, Tax, and Finance to ensure integrity of all files and electronic databases related to the management of equity grants for internal and external reporting.
* Support in the annual preparation of the annual proxy statement, including responsibility for the compensation discussion and analysis section and related tables.
* Develops internal compensation communications and educational materials related to equity and other programs.
* Helps prepare Compensation Committee meeting materials.
* Responsible for job evaluations, salary structure development/refinement, merit budgets, job evaluation and market survey participation management as needed.
* Consults with Talent and HR Business Partners on compensation level and pay recommendations.
* Deliver training and education to employees and managers on equity and other compensation programs, philosophy and administration
* Performs other duties and/or projects as assigned.

In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:

* Bachelor's Degree in human resources, finance, or analytical discipline required.
* 5+ years executive compensation or corporate compensation experience required.
* 4+ years experience administering equity based long term incentive plans for a US public company required.

The following skill sets are preferred by the business unit:

* Strong knowledge of compensation practices and executive compensation program design, administration, and trends, especially with respect to equity based long term incentive plan administration.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience drafting board committee documents, presentations, resolutions, and minutes preferred.
* Ability to expertly manage, model, analyze, and manipulate data using software such as Excel, Word or PPT. Must be highly advanced in utilizing reporting tools, analyzing data, and developing executive summaries and presentations.
* Workday and Fidelity equity experience a plus.
* Proven analytical, project management and communication skills
* Organized and detail oriented is a must as all tasks are related to Executive Compensation (data typically sent to senior executives or Board members)
