In this role, youll help provide global legal support for all Apple Media Services including the App Store, the iTunes Store, Apple Books, Apple Music, Apple TV+, Fitness+, and more. Specifically, you will contribute to a team that manages intellectual property disputes related to third-party and Apple original content. The role directly supports an attorney, and requires a tenacious self-starter with the strong business judgment and communication skills needed to interact with multiple cross-functional teams. The successful candidate will have a collaborative and friendly work style, be exceptionally well-organized, and effectively multitask, prioritize, and take initiative to close out complicated issues.

* 3+ years legal experience (in-house or firm) and/or equivalent experience in intellectual property, especially trademark and copyright.
* Proficiency with Apple products, programs, and services.
* Superior written and oral communication skills.
* Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively on cross-functional teams.
* Ability to exercise sound and independent judgment.
* Must be well organized, detail oriented, and able to manage time effectively and manage a substantial workload efficiently.
* Ability to identify critical issues quickly and navigate priorities.
* Chinese language skills preferred.

Description

The position will be focused on managing disputes and improving scalable processes for third-party dispute matters across all Apple Media Services. Responsibilities include: -Reviewing and processing nuanced legal claims, including trademark and copyright infringement claims, working closely with and making recommendations to supervising attorney(s). -Working with minimal supervision, and taking initiative on daily assignments. -Communicating and collaborating directly with internal and external parties regarding Apples content dispute processes, providing guidance, instruction, and support where needed. -Developing improvements to internal tools and policies to streamline and maximize efficiency, as well as supporting growth and effectively coordinating with the team and database developers to implement changes. -Demonstrating flexibility/adaptability, as this position is responsible for a range of tasks that track the expansion of Apples app and media services lines of business.



Education & Experience

Education & Experience

Bachelors degree from an accredited institution. Paralegal certification or J.D. not required.
