Reporting to the US Consumer Business Operational Risk (US CBORC) Director of Shared Risk Management Capabilities, the Conduct Risk Manager is responsible for the end-to-end management of Conduct Risk related strategic initiatives for the NAM Region. Working with Global Transformation Leaders, this role will be responsible for leading the implementation of sustainable solutions related to conduct, ethics and the perception of risk management and corresponding behaviors as applicable for the NAM Consumer Bank Transformation. Additionally, this role drives the execution of the current Conduct Risk Quarterly Assessment process in addition to identifying and implementing achievable program enhancements and educational work in support of strengthening the ethics-based culture and conduct risk management.

Responsibilities:

* Establishes and oversees the Conduct Risk Management activities including but not limited to reporting requirements and execution of formalized action plans with senior level interaction across all lines of business and partners.
* Drives culture engagement and development of program enhancements and educational support across NAM Region.
* Works with GCB Transformation lead to deliver results based on the target state and success criteria for transformation programs.
* Serves as partner with the Sales Practice Surveillance Team, Global Conduct Risk and Sales Practice functions for best practices and oversight across NAM.
* Drives analyses over risk and control reporting to identify trends, themes. Adept at distilling key messages, presenting and defending findings and escalating identified concerns.
* Uses excellent communication skills in order to influence a wide range of internal audiences including respective product, function, or regional executive management partners.
* Engages key function partners like Business partners, Compliance, Risk Management, Operational Risk Management, Regulatory Relations, and Legal to ensure franchise and other key risks and needs are evaluated and mitigated.
* Manages and optimizes team productivity, cultivates a team of well trained and highly capable risk professionals. This includes duties such as performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions and terminations and budget approval.

Qualifications:

* 10+ years of prior experience in control, compliance, risk or regulatory management in the Banking or credit card industry.
* Proven ability to work cross-functionally exercising leadership through influence, persuasion and negotiation.This individual must be an articulate and effective communicator, both orally and in writing, with an energetic, charismatic and approachable style.
* Possesses strong project management and interpersonal skills, makes sound decisions, exhibiting initiative and intuitive thinking.
* Exemplary thought leadership skills; able to build and lead strategic initiatives.
* Strong execution skills with drive for continuous improvement.
* Outstanding people management and supervisory skills.
* Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience preferred
