The Manager, New Build represents a critical function for all expansion activities as a multi-faceted role that supports Altice USA B2B and B2C Sales Organizations and ensures compliance to the construction process. You and your team will carefully orchestrate different groups around a new build process to deliver on coax, fiber, and FTTP services. You will lead your team to success by strategically developing partnerships with local operations teams and developing a plan to effectively capitalize on new construction opportunities.

Responsibilities

* Hires, evaluates, coaches, and leads staff.
* Manage direct reports for accountability to individual and team deliverables.
* Train and develop team and coordinate with Training teams to ensure up-to-date training material is provided to all teams.
* Work independently with little supervision in order to execute on a comprehensive new build/construction strategy.
* Understanding of the new build process from survey to services delivered and work with internal construction and sales groups to execute on survey and build plans.
* Develop a comprehensive new build strategy aimed at effective planning, scheduling, and executing on activities that will result in the effective penetration of new build areas.
* Responsible for the implementation of the department strategies to achieve monthly and yearly goals and objectives as related to monthly, and yearly revenue objectives.
* Ongoing development and implementation of new strategies, processes, and documentation.
* Researches and makes recommendations on procedures to enhance financial and operational efficiencies.
* Partners to develop and deliver system wide communication regarding the progress of survey and build projects to internal and external customers.
* Work with local operations to address any technical issues raised by customers, landlords, and sales teams.
* Leads research activities and working sessions as it relates to expansion activities with B2B sales, B2C sales, Local Market Engagement, Procurement, Government Affairs, Legal, and Construction as required.
* Partner with Business Planning to develop and update appropriate ROI models in support of New Build efforts.
* Partner with sales and product to ensure we maximize expansion opportunities.
* Coordinate with Legal to review and update required documents.
* Prepares and proofreads correspondence, reports and other materials. May plan layout of reports and statistical tables. Uses various PC software packages such as spreadsheets, word processing, and graphics to produce high quality reports, presentations, or other documents for department and executive reviews.
* Prepares and presents daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs including executive program updates on New Build activity as required.
* Performs other duties and undertakes special projects as assigned.

* Bachelors degree in Business (or Management), Computer Science, Engineering, Finance or a related discipline preferred. Equivalent work experience may also be used in conjunction or in place of educational requirements.
* Experience in New Build Construction processes, including working within the existing project management software (Workfront) a plus.
* Experience in business process re-engineering or process improvement desirable, involving broad-based information systems and utilizing tools and techniques to effect business change.
* Demonstrated organizational management skills in a highly complex, fast growing technical environment including, budget management and business planning.
* Demonstrated ability to resolve roadblocks to delivery in multi-organization teams where no direct management responsibility exists.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with executive, senior management, peers, staff, vendors, contractors, and customers.
* Proficient knowledge, with proven experience, of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required; Visio a plus.
* An ability to present and discuss technical, functional and management information in a clear and concise way that explains complex topics, is persuasive and promotes consensus.
* Ability to perform multiple tasks and adjust priorities based on workload and direction from management and customer.
* Ability to solve problems independently.
* Schedules may include working weekends depending on project deadlines.
* Ability to maintain highest degree of confidentiality and diplomacy.
* Ability to travel up to 25%.
