PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

The Commute & Transportation Services team manages transportation planning and transportation demand management (TDM) programs for a large Puget Sound campus and corporate office facilities across North America. The team is dedicated to providing employees with a variety of innovative transportation options that reduce their reliance on driving alone.

JOB SUMMARY

The Transportation Resources Coordinator will be an integral part of a best-in-class, employee commute program for a large corporate client. This position will work closely with internal team members and other stakeholders to manage all front-line communications related to employee commuting, contributing to the programs overall goal of reducing drive-alone commute trips.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop communication best practices for effectively communicating commute options to employees.

Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on various commute modes and options available to employees.

Respond to high-visibility escalations in a fast-paced and demanding environment.

Think critically and develop process improvements that help drive continuous program improvement.

Respond to a high volume of email requests for information and commute assistance.

Create individualized commute plans for employees.

Develop and maintain comprehensive, accurate, and coherent intranet content and other communications.

Distribute transit passes and parking fobs to employees according to established processes. Use Microsoft Excel and other tools to track critical pass and fob data, and make recommendations based on that data.

Lead and develop elements of an employee engagement program, including transportation fairs, tabling events and marketing collateral.

Partner with internal teams to understand and communicate all commute-related benefits and subsidies. Develop creative ways to disseminate information and ensure employees are aware of their benefits.

Develop an understanding of WageWorks and other commute benefit platforms and ensure content integration with client systems and platforms.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Enthusiasm for / interest in sustainable transportation

Bachelors degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Business, Sustainability, or a related field

2-3 years of experience, not including internships or coursework, working in a corporate environment where relevant skills can be demonstrated

Demonstrated ability to draft timely, clear and professional communications

Excellent client / customer service skills and experience working in a corporate customer service environment

Ability to proactively identify process and program improvements and make recommendations

Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Intellectual curiosity and a desire for continuous improvement

OTHER SKILLS AND/OR ABILITIES

Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
