Business Process Specialist, Mid

Key Role:

Analyze clients current operating environment and identify areas for improvement. Engage with client leaders to help refine the clients definition of success and identify current frustrations. Design data collection plans, facilitate workshops and focus groups, and communicate your research and illustrative analysis using root cause analysis, SIPOC charts, fishbone diagrams, failure mode effect analyses, trend analysis, future state models to help establish understanding and get agreement from key decision makers. Perform analysis using various methodologies such as lean six sigma, business process reengineering, design thinking, theory of constraints, continuous process improvement, or other various process improvement frameworks to provide client with recommendations along with a solid grasp of the quantitative and qualitative results they can expect.

Basic Qualifications:

* 2+ years of experience in a professional work environment, including implementing business process enhancements
* Experience with Microsoft Office
* Ability to document and analyze complex business processes
* Ability to summarize and present findings/analysis and provide insightful recommendations
* Ability to be creative and innovative with an inquisitive process-based mindset
* Ability to adjust to a dynamic environment
* Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
* Ability to obtain a security clearance
* BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

* Experience with Microsoft Visio, Minitab or other statistical analysis software
* Experience in the discipline of Knowledge Management
* Knowledge of Process Improvement Methodologies, including Plan Do Check Act, Rapid Improvement Events, Six Sigma, Lean, Business Process Re-Engineering, Theory of Constraints
* Knowledge of Project Management principles and practices
* Knowledge of Change Management principles and practices
* Knowledge of the DoD and Combatant Command environments
* Secret clearance
* Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt (LSSYB or CSSYB) or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (LSSGB or CSSGB) Certifications
