Electrical Engineer, Senior

That knowledge is key when it comes to developing high energy lasers. Were looking for an electrical engineer who can use their skills to take Directed Energy concepts from the lab to the field.

Our team performs research and development of Directed Energy systems. Thats why we need you, an experienced electrical engineer with skills in rapid prototyping to help us design and develop first-of-kind laser systems. Youll design, develop, and test electrical components and subsystems. Youll directly impact the state of Directed Energy technology by working with a multidisciplinary engineering team to develop and test new designs. Well look to you to share your electrical engineering expertise through leadership and mentoring junior staff. This is a chance to use your circuit design and analysis skills while gaining experience in lasers, optics, and full system integration. As a technical leader, youll identify new opportunities to develop solutions to help your customers meet their toughest needs. You Have:

-8+ years of experience with electrical engineering

-5+ years of experience with design and development of electrical systems or subsystems

-3+ years of experience with rapid prototyping

-Experience with using circuit simulation and analysis tools, including PSpice

-Experience with working in a multidisciplinary engineering environment

-Ability to develop complex schematics, design Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs), and test completed assemblies using tools, including Altium Designer

-Ability to test and troubleshoot electrical systems

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree in EE

Nice If You Have:

-Experience with Directed Energy or optical engineering

-Experience with leading electrical engineering tasks and teams
