The AWS Global Portfolio Asset Management Team is looking for a talented, experienced Senior Portfolio Manager based in our Seattle corporate office campus. In this role, you will lead the Global Portfolio Asset Management Team and will be responsible for coordinating and managing data center third party vendor from contracts to payment cycles and the real estate approval processes and metrics. This includes end-to-end ownership of financial requirements for real estate acquisitions and third party colocation vendor contract management. It requires coordination ranging from engagement with different regions business developers globally up to engaging with legal to review and understand documentation requests from property owners and additional property portfolio management duties.
The ideal candidate needs to be detailed oriented and a strong communicator that can work independently and will possess a high level of competence in Asset Management and a solid understanding of performing a full range of portfolio responsibilities in an extremely fast paced environment with a high degree of ambiguity.
Key Responsibilities include:
Manage global Asset and Portfolio management team and ensure lease obligations are being met on time
Strategic and organization level planning for supporting business increases as it related to Real Estate and Colocation Vendors and new services management model.
Tracking and reporting of key lease metrics, obligations, and critical dates
Coordinate, track and provide support to the transaction team to execute renewals
Provide insight and support in strategic negotiations for renewals (packaged renewals, etc.) both for Leases and Colocation Vendors globally.
Strategic optimization of existing portfolio and identification of cost saving opportunities with existing sites for both leases and Colocation Vendors globally.
Drive process creation, implementation and improvements
Managing the lease management database and partnering with different business lines to drive forward technical enhancements/improvements
Maintains global/business partnership between all key stakeholders
Third party vendor management
Assist in portfolio optimization and the creation of templates
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas: Real estate, finance, financial planning, asset management or accounting
1+ years of experience and competence utilizing commercial real estate software platforms
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Demonstrated ability to establish processes, workflows, standard procedures
Ten or more years of experience in real estate operations
Understanding of trends in the market related to Sale and lease Back concepts.
Experience with large, multi-state global real estate portfolios
Prior Experience in managing a global team
