We are seeking a results-focused Senior Manager, Technical Program Management (TPM) with superb technical and analytical capabilities to own and lead large-scale engineering efforts that solve significantly complex problems. This role leads the Engineering Program Management team, responsible for integrating the end-to-end Prime Air System. The team is comprised of launch leadership program management (TPMs/PMs dedicated to a single product launch) and configuration management.
As the Senior Manager of Engineering Program Management, you are responsible for setting program management expectations across solid and dotted-line TPMs. You will obsess over and innovate for your customers, designing long-term mechanisms that solve hard business problems. You routinely remove barriers for all areas of the business, resolving endemic problems throughout the development process. You focus on scaling mechanisms and reducing process overhead within development teams while maintaining the visibility to enable proactive resolution of issues on multiple programs within your portfolio. You will use data and your own technical/business judgement to expedite decision making, manage risks, communicate and resolve issues, make technical or business trade-offs, and drive projects to completion. In this role, you will effectively partner with all levels of leadership, working closely with teams across hardware and software organizations. You are adept at building consensus. Cross-team coordination, project management, and executive presentation skills are essential.
As a key leader in the organization, you will help Prime Air see around corners, ensuring the right people/partners are involved and the right organizational structure is in place to facilitate long-term success. You will develop, simplify, and scale mechanisms to reduce product development time and increase visibility and proactive resolution of issues. As a senior manager, you will also amplify your impact by educating the TPM and engineering communities on program management best practices.
Export Control License

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
10+ years experience in a Technical Program Manager role
5+ years experience managing teams
5+ years experience developing, owning and driving program level schedules with software/hardware milestone tracking and implementation, dependency mapping, and schedule updates.
Experience in design and analysis of integrated hardware/software products
Proficient in configuration management and control
Ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals, ability to collect requirements, describe product features and technical designs, present and explain design, present defect data, metrics, improvement initiatives and status to top leadership
Experience managing and launching complex projects with many customers, cross-organizational programs and the ability to build sustainable processes, coordinate release schedules, hold teams and individuals to timelines and deliverables without explicit authority
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
10+ years experience in aerospace, consumer electronics, or automotive development and manufacturing
5+ years managing a portfolio of programs with varied launch timelines
5+ years working in a matrixed organization
Experience in technical writing of design requirements
